Kathleen Kay Jones passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the Highland Ridge Care Center at the age of 74 years.

She is survived by her husband David; four children, Megan (Matt) Schiebel of Washington, Beth (Tony) Runkle of Bettendorf, Ryan (Kasey) Jones of Conroy and Abby (Andy) Meyer of Swisher; 11 grandchildren, Grace, Luke, Callie Schiebel, Boone and Tate Runkle, Maiha, Natalie, Nolan Jones and Noah, Ellie, Will Meyer; a brother, Larry (Fran) Zuber of North Liberty; two sisters, Karen Kirks of Scotch Grove and Marty Gahring of Georgia; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Zuber of Williamsburg. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Richard Zuber and Dale Zuber, a sister-in-law Ruth Zuber and a brother-in-law Max Dirks.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 am on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Powell Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date. A memorial fund has been established for Essence of Life Hospice or the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
