Karl Edward Groters

Karl Edward Groters, a proud veteran of the Air Force, passed away on November 25, 2022 at the age of 84 in Saginaw, Texas.

Memorial Service:  10:00 a.m., Monday, December 12, 2022 in Biggers Funeral Chapel, 6100 Azle Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas.

Karl Groters was born on September 17, 1938 in Erie, Pennsylvania to John W. Groters, and Clarabelle Arnold Groters. He graduated from McDowell High School in 1957, then joined the US Air Force where he served for 23 years. During this time, he served throughout the US and Europe. He was also a Vietnam Veteran. Following his military career, he worked for the US Postal Service. During his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with family and his hobby as an amateur ham radio operator.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Thomas, Alan, and Rayond.

Karl is survived by his wife, Josefina Groters; children, Dennis Groters and wife, Cecilia; Melinda Masota and husband, Greg; brother, Jack Groters; sister-in-law, Carole Groters; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
