Julie R. Lewis, nee Halpert, age 67. Adored wife of Gregory Lewis. Beloved mother of the late Inga Lewis. Loving grandmother of Josiah. Loving companion of her four-legged friend Yuki. Dear sister of Richard (Barbara Herd) Halpert. Dear aunt, niece, cousin, and friend of many. Julie went to the New York School of Performing Arts, having a large passion for music and creating art in all forms. She loved to scrapbook, especially giving her family books of the memories they had shared together. Julie was well respected and loved amongst her colleagues, with whom she maintained lifelong friendships. Above all, Julie had a heart of gold and loved to be a mother, not only to Inga and Josiah, but to Inga’s many friends. She will be sorely missed. A Memorial Service in Julie’s honor will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2PM at First Presbyterian Church, 1427 Chicago Ave, Evanston, IL 60201.
