Judith Ann Groh

Judith Ann Groh, 80, of New Philadelphia, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 in The Inn of Northwood at Dover after a period of declining health.

Born in Dover, she was the only child of the late Max and Verna (Haney) Dotts, and a 1960 graduate of New Philadelphia High School. Following high school, she began working for the New Philadelphia School System as a secretary.

Judith possessed many passions in life. She was an avid golfer and played in numerous golf leagues in the area, including River Greens Ladies League, but more than anything, she loved just spending time with her two sons.

On April 10, 1964, Judith married John R. Groh, and celebrated their 57 years of marriage before his passing in April 2021. Judith is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey J. Groh and Michael J. Groh both of New Philadelphia.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

In keeping with Judith’s wishes, she is to be cremated through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia and a private burial will take place in East Avenue Cemetery at New Philadelphia.
