Juan M. Resendez-Novella, Sr.

Juan M. Resendez-Novella, Sr., 60, of Springfield, died at 3:15 pm, Sunday, February 21, 2021 at his home. He was born on July 21, 1960 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Pedro Resendez and Rita Novella.

He is survived by three sons, Juan (Jodi) Resendez, Jr. of Springfield, Jeremias Resendez of McHenry, IL and Jacobo (Krystal) Resendez of Spring Hill, TN; six grandchildren, Jacobo Juan-Jerome Resendez, Jr., Estrella and Orian Roman, Isabella, Aryana Rita, and Juan Pedro Resendez, III; parents, Pedro and Rita Resendez; four sisters; four brothers and spouse, Yolanda Resendez.

Juan was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, rodeos, spending time with kids and grandkids. He was also eager to mentor friends and family.

He resided in Springfield for the past three years and formerly lived in McHenry since 1991. He retired from construction work after thirty six years of service.

Private family services are being in his home town Zacatecas, Mexico at a later date.
