Johnnie Flo Ray, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away Friday, May 12th, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas.

A graveside committal service will be held on Thursday, May 18th at 1pm at the San Saba City Cemetery in San Saba, Texas.  Johnnie was born October 7th, 1931, in San Saba, Texas to the late John and Flossie Franklin.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Odean Ray in 2000, as well as her sister Patsy Jo Mahan in 1996.

Johnnie is survived by her loving sister, Lavenia Hillin and her loving brother Jerry Franklin.

Johnnie was a loving and devoted Mother to her daughter, Clara Kallemeyn and husband Britt, and her son Barry Ray and wife Melissa.  Johnnie was also a loving grandmother to Rebekah Ray, Chase Kallemeyn, Samuel Ray, Jacob Ray, Nicole Kallemeyn and Evienne Ray.  Johnnie was a caring and loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  Johnnie is also survived by her aunt Maxine Hodges and will be sorely missed by cousins Alliene and Jessie Franklin.

Johnnie lived most of her life in San Saba where she married the love of her life Odean Ray on March 4th, 1950. During this time Odean and Johnnie enjoyed traveling, deer hunting and going to antique car shows.  She also loved to quilt and play dominos.  Johnnie was a devoted and loving servant of the Lord Jesus Christ who faithfully served as a member of the First Baptist Church of San Saba and later Lakeside Baptist Church of Granbury, Texas.
