John M. Horcharik, Jr.

John M. Horcharik, Jr., 68 of Springfield, died at 9:12 pm, Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born January 3, 1953 in Niles, Ohio to John M. and Margaret Delvaux Horcharik, Sr.

Survivors include three sons, Mike Horcharik of Decatur, Steve (Beka) Horcharik of Springfield and Dan Horcharik of Springfield; five grandchildren, Lydia, Ashlyn, Jaxon, Remi and Waylon; one sister, Gail Traynor (Danny Newell) of Norco, CA, and one niece, Missy (Dave) Anton of Lindenhurst, NY.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gary Horcharik.

John was a former resident of Sherman and had moved to Springfield in 2000. He retired from the Oil Industry as a Director of Operations.

He was a member of Cherry Hills Church.

John enjoyed fishing, golfing, boating, and the Cleveland Browns Football. He was the family’s Grill Master!

The family will host a Celebration of John’s Life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 3 International Drive, Suite 200, Rye Brook, NY 10573.
