John Harold Lambright Jr.

John Harold Lambright Jr., age 93, of Chicago. Beloved husband to Dolores Agnes, nee Slingo, for 53 wonderful years. Devoted father to James Harold Lambright, Susan Agnes (Christopher Bryan) Huffman, Joseph Harold (Kim Suzanne) Lambright, the late William Boher Lambright, and the late Lauren Elizabeth Lambright.  Cherished Grandpa to William Christopher Huffman, Jonathan Bryan Huffman, Jennifer Jean (Darren) Ovyn, and Jessica Lauren Lambright. Adored great grandpa to Alissa Kristine Fritz, Aidan Joseph Ovyn, Aaron Dennis Ovyn, Alivia Jean Veronica Suzanne Ovyn, Tayvin Joseph Samuel Kitchens, and Kingston David Lee Kitchens. He was preceded in death by his parents John Harold Lambright Sr., and Margaret F. Lambright. John was an avid traveler and enjoyed cruising with his best friend, Dolores. He loved anything about aviation: air shows, model air planes, and loved history and museums. John served his country in the Army and is a proud Korean War Veteran. He will be missed by many friends and relatives. A visitation will be held Friday, June 18, at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave. Chicago IL. from 5:00-8:00PM, and 10:00-11:00am on Saturday. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00am. Interment at Acacia Park Cemetery.
