Jimmy Ray Goulder, 64, of Uhrichsville, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 in his home following a period of declining health.
Born in Dover, he was the son of the late Raymond and Annelise (Stossell) Goulder and a graduate of New Philadelphia High School. Following high school, Jimmy enlisted into the United States Navy and proudly served his country for 20 years before retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. Following his honorable discharge from the Navy, Jimmy began his second career as a Truck Driver for Empire Express and retired for a second time after 20 years of employment. He attended the Church at Carter’s Orchard at Dover.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Pamela “Kim” Goulder, whom he married on October 30, 2018; his son, Jason Goulder; his daughter, Stephanie (Dan) Spencer; three grandchildren, Zack Goulder, Michael Spencer and Sara Spencer; a sister Ruth (Kevin) Ray and a brother, Todd (Mary) Goulder.
In keeping with his wishes, Jimmy is to be cremated through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Burial will take place in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at Rittman with full military honors, at a future date.
The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to Community Hospice Truman House, 716 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
