Janet L. Miller, 87, of Mansfield, passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
Janet was born on August 30, 1934 in Mansfield, Ohio, and was the daughter of Cullen and Rosa (Hauger) Stringfellow. Janet was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church where she was involved with the quilt group. She spent time every morning reading her Bible with a nice cup of tea. Janet lived her life as a true example of how you should treat others, she led by example. Family was cherished by Janet and she dearly loved her grandchildren. Janet enjoyed chatting with her sister, Mary Ella, the conversations and laughs were treasured memories. Janet took great pride in keeping her home looking pristine. She was always searching for a new tea pot to add to her collection, enjoyed Bingo, and was an avid gardener.
She leaves behind her son, Dale Miller; her grandchildren, Jessie, Nicholas, Ian, Michelle, Caleb, and Trista; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lawrence Miller; and her sons, Larry Miller and Michael Miller.
Family and friends may visit from 10:00-11:00 am on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am. Janet will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G.
