James Wesley Walker

James “Jim” Wesley Walker, 82, passed away in Dover, Ohio on December 12th, 2020.

Jim was born on November 2nd, 1936 in Uhrichsville, Ohio to William Perry and Mary Elizabeth (Murray) Walker. He graduated from Uhrichsville High School in Uhrichsville, Ohio in 1954 and continued his education at The Ohio State University. He was employed at Honeywell/HFSI in McLean, Virginia for over 35 years.

He enjoyed golf, tinkering with electronics, volunteering with Vienna Little League and collecting photos of his family. He retired to Nags Head, North Carolina for several years before moving back to Ohio where he was fortunate to spend time with his brother Perry, his sister Sue, and their families.

He is survived by his three children, Lisa and her husband Brad Payne of Chantilly, Virginia, Lori and her husband Jon Britt of Duck, North Carolina, and Jimmy and his wife Denise (Osmundson) Walker, of Breckenridge Colorado; three grandchildren, Nora Payne, Lily, Payne, and William Britt; his brother Perry and and his wife Barbara Walker of Bolivar, Ohio, his sister Sue and her husband Larry Pounds of Troy, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William (Bill) and Mary Walker.
