James Clark Taylor

James Clark Taylor, 79, son of Arthur Eugene and Thelma Osteen Taylor passed away May 8, 2021.  He was of the Baptist faith and attended Mt. Valley Baptist Church.

James was predeceased by his brothers, Fredrick Eugene and Carl Thomas Taylor.  He was a Flat Rock High graduate and served three years in the US Navy.

James loved to farm and was gifted in that area. He was a long-haul truck driver for many years and retired from ITT Automotive. After retirement, he was somewhat a “jack of all trades” and stayed busy most of the time.

James is survived by one sister, Eugenia “Jeannie” Taylor Lindsey, four nephews, Frederick, David, and Keith Taylor, Brad Lindsey, and niece Glenda Lindsey White.

A graveside service will be held Friday, May 14^th at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 11:00 AM. Memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Baptist Church or to the donor’s choice.
