Jacob Ramsey Tarver

Jacob Ramsey Tarver, 15, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 29, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Services celebrating Jacob’s life will be at 1 P.M., Monday, June 5, 2023, at the Wiley Center Chapel, 410 Highway 377 East, in Granbury.  Family members will greet friends from 12:00 to 1 P.M., at the funeral chapel.

Jacob was born on September 19, 2007, in Fort Worth, TX, to Cody Tarver and Jennifer McNabb.   A student at Granbury High School, he was ambitious and enjoyed being a “prankster”.   Playing video games, going to the park, and watching movies, were some of his favorite past times, but most of all, Jacob loved spending time with his family – particularly his brother and sister. Jacob was a lover, not a fighter. And a true lady’s man.

Jacob is survived by his mother, Jennifer McNabb and stepfather, Robert Cattes; father, Cody Traver; siblings, Anthony McNabb and Lona Tarver; grandparents, Janice Lee, Tony Hale, and Bart McNabb; great-grandmother, Lou Hensley; aunts and uncle, Jena Jackson, Sabrina and Jeremy Trujillo; his cousins, Tristan and Shania Santillan, and Gavin Trujillo; and by his niece, Nevaeh McNabb; and numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jacob was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Janice Lee; great-grandfather Terrell Lee; and by uncles, Lance McNabb and David Lee and aunt Tamara Day.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury, TX.
