Jack Daniel Fallin

Jack Daniel Fallin

Jack Daniel Fallin, age 57, went home to be with the Lord on January 5th after a very quick illness onset. He was born January 16, 1965 in Fort Worth, Texas and lived in Granbury since 1975. He was a caring, loyal and devoted father, husband, brother, son, and friend.

Jack graduated from Granbury High School in 1983 then went to Western Texas College in Snyder for two years on a golf scholarship. He then attended North Texas State University (UNT) where he received a Bachelors of Business Administration and was a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity. During these years he made many lifelong friendships and met the love of his life Tonya Ferguson. He owned Jack’s Lawn & Landscaping in Granbury for 30 years before going to work in sales and management for Rix Energy/Red Dirt Rentals in the oil and gas industry.

He lived in DCBE and has been a member since 1975 where he held the golf course record for several years until just recently. He loved fishing, hunting, golfing, and spending time with his family. Jack was a natural at everything he did. He was the happiest when he was doing anything outdoors. He never met a stranger and was the life of the party always cracking jokes and telling one of his many stories that got better every time he told them.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Tonya; and their two children, daughter Jessie Browning and husband Forrest, and son Tristan Fallin and wife Sierra; mother, Bobbie Fallin; sister, Kim Cullers and husband Ron; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Elmo Fallin. Jack was an amazing man, bigger than life. The Texas Legend gone too soon. He will be so deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, January 10th at Acton United Methodist Church at 2:00pm.
