Howard “Keith” Jones

Howard “Keith” Jones, 86, of Springfield, died at 2:58 pm, Monday, March 13, 2023 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. He was born November 6, 1936 in Springfield, the son of Lester and Evelyn (Lauterbach) Jones. He married Cheryl Ledbetter August 24, 1968.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Cheryl of Springfield, IL and two children, Stephen (Kim) Jones of Camas, WA and Andrea (Cary) Shales of Reno, NV.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was a United States Navy veteran.

Keith was of the Methodist faith. He was a member of the Masons and retired from Hobbs Manufacturing Corporation where he was a tool and die maker.

Graveside Service: 12 pm, Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Pastor Donn Stephens officiating and where military honors will be conducted.
