Hettie B. Kinman

Hettie B. Kinman, 94, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at her home at Concordia Village. She was born December 7, 1926, in Sparta, KY, the daughter of Clarence and Ora (Dalton) Marksberry. She married Elwood Kinman in 1941 and he preceded her in death October 29, 1990.

Also preceding her in death are her parents and daughter, Barbara Kinman.

She is survived by her dear friends, Nancy Canny and Brandi Schwartz, both of Springfield.

Hettie belonged to First Church of the Nazarene where she had volunteered and sang in their choir. She provided for her family as a homemaker. Hettie worked as an administrtive supervisor in Morton Grove, IL.

Visitation: 10:30 am – 12:30 pm, Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Funeral Service: 12:30 pm, Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Church of the Nazarene.
