Harlow “Sonny” Case

Harlow “Sonny” Case, 86, of Hendersonville passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021, following an extended illness. He was born in Henderson County to the late Thomas Grady and Anna Marie Case; he was also predeceased by his beloved wife, Marta Case; sister Susan Case and brother Grady William Case.
A lifelong native of Hendersonville, Sonny served in the U.S Navy and Coast guard as a Hospital Corpsman 1st Class during the Korea and Vietnam conflicts. In doing so, Sonny was able to travel and spend time in San Francisco, California, and parts of Alaska. Sonny volunteered as a Sunday School teacher. In his later years, he became a member at Reformation Presbyterian Church of Hendersonville. Sonny loved his family and the Lord.
Left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren Charles and Anthony Case, Ismael and Reyna Jacquez, Michael Vinson; and niece Angela Lamb and her husband James. Sonny also leaves behind great-nieces and nephews; Elizabeth Lamb, Jason, and Jessica Curtis.
A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 27, 2021, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park of Hendersonville, North Carolina.
