Gregory Charles Riso

Gregory Charles Riso, 74, died peacefully during the early morning hours on Friday, July 2, 2021, at his residence with his loving wife by his side. Gregory was born in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late Albert and Fay Riso; he was also predeceased by brother, Albert Riso, Jr.; who had six children.

Gregory was a graduate of St Peters College in Jersey City and attended Fordham University. He had a long and successful career as a Chief of Information in the Computers industry and Accounting: he had a passion for gardening. During the later years of his life, Nancy andGregory spent a lot of time maintaining and caring for their gardens. He was known as being family oriented. The family of Gregory will always fondly remember their Uncle UG. What a brilliant man who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish Gregory’s memory are his wife, Nancy Riso; sister, Joan Yasier and husband Charles Yasier, Jr of New Jersey; niece Debra and husband Ray Lipski and their four children; niece Gailand husband George Murray and their son . He also survived by nieces and nephews; Lauri Yasier, Tamara Yasier, Leigh Dean Duane and wife Katherine Yasier.

A memorial service with Military Honors will be held at 10am on Friday, July 9, 2021, in the Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home.
