Grace Marian Williamson died on April 13, 2024, at Heritage Specialty Care of dementia. She was 94 years old. A visitation will be held from 10 – 11 a.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. A graveside service will follow at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Linwood Cemetery Mausoleum in Cedar Rapids.

Grace was born to David and Iva (Good) Moyer on March 12, 1930, in North English, Iowa. She graduated from South English High School in 1948. Grace married Benjamin Howard Williamson in 1957 and the couple later divorced in 1988. Grace found joy in cultivating and arranging flowers, expressing her creativity through drawing, painting, and crafting, and spending leisurely days fishing with friends. She actively contributed to the Coggon Historical Society and generously crafted quilts for the Coggon Community Comforters.

Grace is survived by her children, Michelle Johnston of Texas, Melinda (David) Glade of Hiawatha, Iowa, Rose Eagleson of Olin, Iowa, Karen (Laird) Jones of Marion, Iowa, Tom Morgan of Illinois, Bruce (Lori) Williamson of Missouri, and Mary Alice Nollen of Coggon, Iowa; 22 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Lillian Moyer.

Grace was preceded in death by her mother, Iva Moyer; father, David Moyer; brothers, Raymond, David, Dean, and Robert; sister, Bernice; ex-husband, Benjamin Williamson; sons-in-law, Michael Nollen, Kevin Johnston, and Gary Eagleson; and great-great-grandson, Jasyn.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions to Dementia research, Heredity Spastic Paraparesis research, or your favorite charity.
