George William Minor

George William Minor, 52, of Dundee, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 in Mercy Medical Center at Canton.

A son of Robin L. (Greer) Minor and the late George A. Minor, George was born October 1, 1969 in Dover, Ohio.

George attended Dover Schools and also studied at Kent State University Tuscarawas Campus.  He was a self-employed contractor and was well known to his customers for his hard work.  He enjoyed spending time with his friends and George dearly loved his family.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his siblings, David Minor, Paul Minor, Vada Evans and Melody (Jeffrey) Evans and many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with George’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Geib Funeral Center at Dover.  The family will hold a celebration of life gathering on Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Hampton Inn at New Philadelphia with a short service taking place at 3 p.m.

Contributions may be made to assist the family with final expenses through a Facebook fundraiser created by his sister which is named, “Help Vada’s memorial/loss fundraiser”.
