George E. LeCroy

George E. LeCroy of Hendersonville, NC passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the age of 90. He was the son of the late Charles R. and Carrie B. LeCroy.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty A. LeCroy and sons, Rennie and Russell LeCroy.

George was retired from WBTV in Charlotte, NC and was a life long musician. He felt honored to have played with so many accomplished musicians.

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and attended the Naval School of Music.

He is survived by his wife, Diana J. LeCroy; son, Martin (Becky) LeCroy and stepson, Matthew (Sylvia) Calos; his grandchildren, Candy (Chris) Adams, Stacy (Kirk) Crawford and Russell (Nicole) LeCroy Jr., Felix Calos and his great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his brother, Henry(Cherie) LeCroy and preceded in death by his siblings, Charles LeCroy and Sarah Amick.
