Franklin D. Russell

Franklin D. Russell, Sr., 88, of Flat Rock, North Carolina, peacefully passed away his residence while surrounded by his loving wife and youngest son. Born in Tennessee to the late Alva and Lena Russell; he is also predeceased by son James Russell.

Frank was a high school graduate. In life, Frank became a butcher and enjoyed his craft. He was of the Baptist faith. Family and friends will miss Frank dearly.

Left to cherish Frank’s memory are his beloved wife, Carol F. Russell; sons Frank Jr., Larry, and Michael Russell; eight grandchildren and two-great grandchildren. Frank also leaves behind a sister and brother, Betty Young and James Russell, both of Union, South Carolina.
