Florencia Cleofe Smith

Florencia Cleofe (Guanzon) Smith, 53, of Mansfield, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Born April 9, 1968 in Santo Tomas, Phillipines, she was the daughter of Edwin and Agnes (Rodriquez) Guanzon.

Florencia was a graduate of Ashland University with a BS in Nursing. A very hard worker, she was employed by OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital and attended St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Florencia loved to cook, clean, shop, sing, music and she also had a black belt in Karate. She loved her family dearly and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband, Neil Smith; her children, Isabella Dye, Andrew Dye and Chase (Jada) Smith; two grandchildren, Arabella Horning and Ava Horning; a sister, Florinda Griffith; and her dogs, Beanie and Maddie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her dog, Sophie.

Friends may call from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 South Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 21, 2021.
