Farise R. Sims
Farise R. Sims (aka Farise Scott or Farise Bray), 63, of Bristol, Illinois by way of Elgin, Illinois and North Chicago, Illinois, passed away on August 25, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.
A beautiful soul, Farise lived a life full of light that shinned on anyone she knew. She loved to sing and dance; laugh and play; and her home was one in which everyone was welcome and could expect to be fed and entertained.
Her love ran deep, and she took pride in caring for her family and friends.
Farise was predeceased by her parents John Bray Sr. and Beatrice Bray. She will live on in the hearts of her husband Robert Sims, her daughters Larise and Eyleen Scott, her sister Patricia Greathouse, her brothers John Bray Jr. and Vincent Bray, and a plethora of family and friends.
As per her wishes, Farise’s life will be celebrated in a private ceremony.
