Evelyn June (Weissberg) Roberts

Evelyn (Weissberg) Roberts, 89, of Ocklawaha, FL, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at her home. She was born June 15, 1932, in Springfield, the daughter of John and Auguste (Kolpack) Weissberg. She married George S. Roberts on October 19, 1952, who preceded her in death on January 20, 2004.

Also preceding her in death are her parents; sisters, Dorothea Buie, Rosemary Stoppelwerth, Nancy Davis; and brother, Mick Weissberg.

Survivors include her daughters, Deborah (Peter) Wegner, Linda (Carlos Oti) Roberts, and Nancy (Tom) Bryer; sons, Micheal (Cathy) Roberts and David Roberts; grandchildren, Keri, Pete, Sydney, Erica, Evan, and Sam; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Logan, Allyce, Brooklyn, Matthew, Lauren, and Amelia; sister, Caroline Londrigan of Petersburg; brother, John (Lois) Weissberg of Rochester; In-laws, Ross Buie and Suzie Weissberg; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial Gathering: 10 – 11 am, Friday, October 29, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Memorial Service: 11 am, Friday, October 29, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield. Private burial will take place at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
