Eric T. Wolfgang

Eric T. Wolfgang, 58, of Mansfield, passed away at Oak Grove Manor on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. He was born on March 12, 1963 in Mansfield, Ohio. Eric was the son of Neal and Kathleen (O’Connor) Wolfgang.

Eric served four years in the United States Marine Corps as an Aircraft Firefighter. Eric worked as a dedicated firefighter in California and South Dakota for several years before he became the owner of his own business building fences. He had a love for playing softball. He greatly enjoyed coaching and watching his sons play baseball. His hobbies included cooking, gardening and photography.

Eric leaves behind his sons, Christian (Mariah) Wolfgang and Justin Wolfgang; his granddaughter, Aspyn Wolfgang; a grandson on the way; his mother, Kathleen (O’Connor) Wolfgang; and a brother; Neal Wolfgang. He was preceded in death by his father, Neal “Red” Wolfgang.

There will be no services for Eric. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the Wolfgang family.
