Elfriede Franke Martin – Burke, 88, passed away May 26, 2023 in Granbury, Texas.

Elfriede was born January 8, 1935 in Hanover, Germany to Adlabert Franke and Elfriede Albrecht. She worked for Three Sister’s Clothing Store in Houston for 10 years, and later worked for Macy’s for 13 years. She loved her grandchildren and to be with all of her family. She loved to attend softball games with her husband, Gary, and go to her favorite restaurants.

Elfriede is survived by her husband: Gary R. Burke, daughter: Pat Pike; son: William Martin; step – daughter: Kayla Pike; sister: Renate Gourley; nephew: Alan Jones;nieces: Holly McCoy, Susan Jones: grandsons: Cody Martin, Zack Hobson; granddaughter: Nikki Hobson: daughter – in – laws: Cheryl Williams and Tracy Blackwell.
