Douglas Edmond Miller

Douglas Edmond Miller, 58, of Bolivar, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in Pomerene Hospital at Millersburg following a sudden illness.
A son of Danny R. Miller and the late Barbara L. (Baker) Miller, Douglas was born December 6, 1962 at Norfolk Virginia.
During his youth, Douglas was active in Boy Scouts and ultimately he attained the rank of Eagle Scout. He was a graduate of Tuscarawas Valley High School before serving eleven years in the United States Navy. Douglas was currently employed by Centor at Millersburg.
He had a variety of hobbies, which often changed over time, but some of his most notable were scuba diving and bowling as well as gardening and working in his workshop.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his daughters, Maggi (George) Moran-Campo of New Philadelphia and Virginia (Mitchell) Addleman of Dover; his grandchildren, George and Patrick Moran and Cordova and Delaina Addleman; a sister, Mia (Keith) Huston of Dennison; a brother, Bryan (Tonya) Miller of Strasburg and numerous nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Douglas’ wishes, there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Geib Funeral Center at Dover.
