Doris “Dori” Marguerite Huffman-Willis, 84, of Ashland, having accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior, returned to be with the Lord in heaven on March 16, 2022.
Dori was born August 16, 1937 in Ashland and was the daughter of William Henry and Pearl Ada (Brecheisen) McAdoo.
Dori was a 1955 graduate of Ashland High School and a 1978 graduate of Ashland College with a degree in business administration. She started her career at General Motors in Mansfield and then worked for Abbott Labs in Ashland from which she retired. Dori was a member of Grace Church in Ashland.
She is survived by her children, Crystal Bair, Bob Huffman and Barb (David) Snow; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; her sister, Naomi Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Hollis B. Taylor.
Friends may call from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2022 at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Avenue, Ashland. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at the funeral conducted by Pastor Norm Johnson. Friends may also call one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ashland County Cancer Association, 1011 East Main Street, Suite A., Ashland, Ohio 44805 or the Ashland Pregnancy Care Center, 119 Sloan Avenue, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
