Doris M. Black
Doris M. Black age 78 of Morris, IL passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at the Lightways
Hospice in Joliet, IL. She was born on January 20, 1943 in Taylorville, IL, the daughter of Joseph
Durbin and Donald and Belma (Manes) Hendrickson.
Doris spent her career as Real Estate Broker and the owner of a private trucking company. In
here retirement she enjoyed reading, spending time in her garden and spending time with her
family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be
deeply missed by her family and friends.
Doris is survived by her daughters, Diana L. Destefano of Morris, IL, Lisa (Timothy) Wagner of
Yorkville, IL; her grandchildren, Dustin Needham, Kari (Ryan) Rogerson and
Andrew(Daneila)Wagner; her five great-grandchildren; her siblings Winnie (Greg) Minkel of
Yorkville, IL, Barbara Gyovai of Aurora IL, and Mike (Sandy) Clauss of South Bend IN; her
brother-in-law Ronald Eberly of Yorkville, IL; also several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Durbin and Donald and Belma (Manes)
Hendrickson, sister Donnis (Earl) Smith, Jeanette (Bill) Chally, Diane Eberly and brother-in-law
Andy Gyovai;and her close companion, Raymond Greenberg.
Funeral Services will be private.
