Dennis W. Leckrone

Dennis W. Leckrone 76, of Chatham, died at 11:50 pm, Thursday, December 22, 2022 at his home. He was born October 1, 1946 in Springfield, to William Isaac and Beulah Mae (Marshall) Leckrone. He married Jeannette Swan on September 18, 1965, and she survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Julie (Dan) Wheeler of Loami; one son, Mark (Jennifer) Leckrone of Chatham; six grandchildren, Michaela Wheeler, Kaitlyn Wheeler, Abbigail Wheeler, Joshua Leckrone, Melissa Leckrone, Andrew Leckrone; two great grandchildren, Hillarie and Madilyn; one sister, Diane (Don) Brookhart of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, John Ealey, and one brother, Marshall L. Leckrone.

Dennis is a member of Hope Church. He worked as an area Sales Manager for 51 years with Keurig/Dr. Pepper.

He loved his grandchildren, and especially watching his granddaughters swim meets.

Private family services are being held.
