Debra Hill Justus
- November 1, 2021
Debra “Debbie” Hill Justus, 56, of Hendersonville went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at the Elizabeth House following a courageous battle with cancer. A native and lifelong resident, she is the daughter of Jim and Faye Hill. She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Deonna Constant.
Debbie was a 1982 graduate of Edneyville High School and then Blue Ridge Community College. She was employed as the office manager for Dr. Overstreet for several years, and he was wonderful to her. Debbie is a member of First Baptist Church of Hendersonville and she had a great faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She had a gift of hospitality and enjoyed cooking and caring for her family and friends. Her greatest joy came from getting to spend time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, David Justus; children, Daniel Justus and Tracey Player; son-in-law, Michael Player; grandchildren, Maylene and Turner Player; parents, Jim and Faye Hill; brother, Scott Hill; nephews, Lee Anderson and Dillon Hill; brother-in-law, Wade Constant and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Doris and David Justus.
A visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Hendersonville, followed by a memorial service starting at 2pm at the church with Reverend Steve Scoggins officiating.
