It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel K. Edin, age 65, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He passed away suddenly on Friday, February 14 surrounded by his wife Laury.

Born on November 24,1959 in Brainerd, Minnesota. Dan was a cherished son, a devoted husband, and a loving father. He was a dedicated Senior Solutions Engineer for Segra. He was a diehard Minnesota sports fan, especially Minnesota Gopher Hockey & Football. His generosity, wisdom, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Dan is survived by his loving spouse, Laury, his devoted children, Jayme (Tammy), Nichole (Chad) & Erik (Anna) ; and cherished grandchildren, Leighton, Lachlan, Lincoln, Ashley, & Carter. He also leaves behind his brother Dave (Joan), along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss him deeply. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer & Mardith Edin.

A private family celebration of life to honor Dan will be held at a later date.
