Cynthia Ann Sutton

Cynthia Ann Sutton (Cindy to everyone), 74, passed away May 31, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas. No services have been planned at this time.

Cindy was born September 8, 1948, in Ponca City, Oklahoma to David Joseph Sutton and Mary Francis Kuhns. Cindy was raised in the Catholic faith and continued to attend Mass throughout her adult life. After the family moved to Midwest City, Oklahoma, Cindy attended and graduated from Midwest City High School.  She was an avid sports fan always cheering for Notre Dame, the New York Yankees, and the Oklahoma State Cowboys. She was employed by Goodwill Industries for about 25 years.

Cindy is preceded in death by her parents: David and Mary Sutton.

She is survived by her stepmother: Patty Sutton of Norman, Oklahoma, siblings: James Sutton and wife Mary of Granbury, Texas, Sally Sutton of Finley, Oklahoma and nieces and nephews: Elizabeth Sutton, Andrea Sutton, Autumn Mitchell, River Mitchell, Snow Carpathian, and Sky Carpathian.

The family wishes to thank the many fine people at Mirabella Assisted Living who helped care for Cindy over the last few years.  Their kindness and caring nature will always be remembered and appreciated.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Cindy’s name can be made to any Catholic charity.
