Chris A. Menefee

Chris A. Menefee, 60, of New Philadelphia passed away July 22, 2022 following a short period of declining health.

Born in Dennison on August 25, 1961, he was the son of Ruth (Anderson) Cadle and the late Gail L. Menefee, Sr.

After completing his formal education, Chris served for 20 years with M & M Construction in Strasburg. He continued his employment with Case Farms Hatchery, ultimately serving in their main facility in Winesburg.

He was an avid fisherman, sharing his passion with his family. His life was devoted to his wife, Bonnie (Jones) Menefee; his step-children, Lisa Mosher and Brian Mosher; his granddaughters, Mylee and Shaylyn Lamp. He will also be deeply missed by his mother, Ruth Cadle; siblings, Pam (Bill) Beaber, Terry (Roseme) Menefee, and Brent (companion, Kelly Rogers) Menefee; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his father, Chris was preceded in death by his brothers, Gail Jr. and Tom Menefee.

A private graveside service will be held in Evergreen Burial Park at a later date. No public visitation or services are scheduled.
