Cheryl L. Michael
Cheryl L. Michael, 64, of Sandwich, passed away surrounded by her loving family on September 11, 2021 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born on August 20, 1957 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Donald and Jean (Brown) White.
Cheri was united in marriage on July 10, 1976 to Keith Michael and they spent the next 45 happy years together. Cheri enjoyed spending her time with family, especially her grandchildren. Throughout the years she enjoyed her time spent camping, growing her beautiful garden and flowers every year, and taking care of her chickens and turkeys. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Michael; one daughter Kristine (Phil) Sinetos of Sandwich, IL; three grandchildren: Austin, Alexis, and Aiden Sinetos of Sandwich IL; her parents Donald & Jean White of Big Rock, IL; her siblings: Donnie “Doc” (Kathi) White of Serena, IL, Debra (Scott) Hamling of Montgomery, IL, Cindy (Craig) Stevens of Texas, Lori (Steve) Hintzsche of Wisconsin, Gary (Sarah) White of Minnesota, Carol (Brent) Bish, of Leland, IL, Michelle (Richard) Perales of Florida; Jeff (Jennifer) White of Sandwich, IL, in-laws: Pam Fernald of Wisconsin Jack (Barb) Michael of Earlville, IL, Eugene Michael of Wisconsin, Danny (Romie) Michael of Aurora, IL,; as well as many nieces and nephews; and Aunts and Uncles Joan McCue, Judy and Jim Kreitz, and James Michels.
She was preceded in death by one grandson: Ashton Sinetos; her mother-in-law Maryon Michael; her sister-in-laws Mae Michael-Winckler and Bonnie Williams; her brother-in-law Greg Michael; her Aunt Carol Michels and Uncle Jim McCue.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home & Crematory, 1275 S. Countyline Rd., Sandwich, IL.
Friends may visit from 1:00 PM until the Hour of Service on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home & Crematory in Sandwich, IL.
