Cheryl C. Ross

Cheryl C. Ross age 74, of Sandwich, IL passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, IL. She was born on February 25, 1947 in Galesburg, IL the daughter of Eugene and Catherine (Hopping) Stambaugh.

Cheryl was united in marriage on November 15, 1976 to Everett Ross and they spent many years happily together until his passing. For several years, Cheryl attended the New Life Church of Yorkville. She enjoyed spending time making craft projects for her family and friends.

Cheryl is survived by her son, Tim Ross of Sandwich, IL; her daughter, Dawn (Phillip) Kurtz of Sandwich, IL; her grandchildren, Alex Ross, Darnell Fritsch, Kenton Kurtz, Alayna Kurtz, Grayson Kurtz; and her brother, Gary (Madalyn) Stambaugh of Arlington Heights, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 1, 2021 in The City of Abingdon Cemetery in Abingdon, IL.

Friends may visit from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, April 30, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1010 West South Street, in Plano, IL.
