Cheryl A. Long

Cheryl A. Long, 68, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at her home. She was born October 27, 1952, in Beloit, Wisconsin, the daughter of Louis and Shirley Smith Long.

Survivors include one brother, Richard (Barbara) Long of Chatham; and several cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Cheryl worked in the Secretary of State’s office for the State of Illinois as a public service administrator. She loved cats and enjoyed crafting handmade jewelry.

Graveside Service: 12:00 pm, Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Cindy Lash officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League.
