Charles Edward Bolton

Charles Edward Bolton, 79, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 15, 2021 in Granbury. He was born October 21, 1942 in Grand Prairie, Texas to John W. and Elizabeth (Smith) Bolton. He married the love of is life, Dorothy Lee on June 26, 1965 in Dallas. Charles was a proud graduate from the University of North Texas, led a successful career in the real-estate appraisal business since 1973 with Bolton-Hall and Associates and later Charles E Bolton and Associates. Charles was a beloved member of the Acton United Methodist Church in Granbury, and very active in the community. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many, and was well known for his loving and generous nature.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents John and Elizabeth, daughter Andrea Rambo, and sisters Betty Ann Starnes and Pat Bailey. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Dorothy Bolton; daughter, Alison Kibbee and husband Cris; four grandchildren, Ty Rambo and wife Sydney, Tate Rambo, Kaylee Kibbee and Kierson Kibbee; two great-grandchildren, Jace Rambo and Trent Rambo; two sisters, Nelda Chapman and husband Gerald, and Suzie Hill; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Skoog and husband Gerald; (15) nieces and nephews as well as other extended family members and numerous friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the Acton United Methodist Church, 3433 Fall Creek Hwy. Granbury, Texas 76049.
