She worked in the telecommunications industry for 30 years before retiring in 2002. Cathy married Joey Welton on April 5, 1986, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. They have lived in Robins 27 years. Cathy enjoyed time spent with her family, especially her grandsons. She enjoyed traveling and working in her flower garden. She loved the Christmas holiday season and decorating. She worked tirelessly putting up multiple Christmas trees and a collectors Snow Village for all to enjoy every year. She loved working in the community of Robins with Joey, volunteering with the City Council, Civic Club and Robins Round Up.
