Carole J. Tracy

Carole J. Tracy, 90, of Springfield, died at 1:12 a.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Reflections Memory Center. She was born August 1, 1931 in Milwaukee, WI to Albert P. and Clara (Rozinski) Short. She married Thomas L. Tracy on February 16, 1952 and he preceded her in death on December 24, 2002.

She is survived by three children; Cathleen Cassavant of Springfield; Thomas Kevin (Bridget) Tracy of Gilroy, CA and Angela (Ron) Estabrook of Springfield; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one daughter, Sharon Cole.

Carole was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She loved taking care of her grandchildren. She was a homemaker and worked at Pease’s for many years.

Visitation: 10:00-11:00 a.m., Monday, December 6, 2021 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Springfield, IL.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 6, 2021 at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Pam Mitcham officiating. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
