Carol Keilholtz passed away on July 23, 2022.
Carol Ann Dvorak was born on Dec. 6, 1940, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She attended the Cedar Rapids public schools and was in the first graduating class at Jefferson High School.
She was united in marriage to James Lee Keilholtz at the original Sharon United Methodist on First Avenue SW, on Nov. 6, 1959.
To this union two children were born: Jamie Lee Keilholtz and Chauntelle Marie Keilholtz.
In the mid-1980s Carol and her family moved to Arizona. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. In 1990 Carol and her family moved to Wyoming. There she enjoyed hunting and fishing and riding horses in the mountains.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lumir A. Dvorak and Catherine Klampfer Dvorak; and her grandparents, Alexander A. Dvorak and Bozena Vondracek Dvorak.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; and her children, Jamie Lee Keilholtz (wife, Pam Keilholtz) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Chauntelle Marie Keilholtz, R.N. (fiance, Tye Cicci) of Clark, Wyo. She is also survived by her sister, Alicia Dee Jackson of Cedar Rapids; and two brothers, Kenneth “Shorty” Dvorak of Cedar Rapids and Thomas A. Dvorak of St. Charles, Mo.
Private services were held in Cody, Wyo.
