Carol Ann Clifford, 68, of Mansfield, passed away early Sunday morning, December 26, 2021, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital.
Born December 26, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Barbara (Morrison) and Owen Myers. Carol loved crafts and had a shop on Etsy named “Carol’s Creations” where she sold handmade jewelry. Other crafts she enjoyed were painting, woodworking, knitting blankets, quilting and sewing. She made each of her children and grandchildren their own personal baby blanket. A strong, Christian woman, Carol expressed her faith and feelings through writing poetry.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jim Michael Clifford, whom she married on June 30, 1972; four children, Jenny (Andy) Eckert, Jim (Carrie) Clifford Jr., Christopher Clifford, and Jake Clifford; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one on the way; four sisters, Sharon Barnette-Itoga, Martha (Larry) Hassler, Denise (Tom) Swope and Teresa Myers; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by a brother, Danny Myers; and a sister, Lorraine Semler.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2022, in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Hull of Church of Christ at Alexandria officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park.
