Carol A. Micetich

Carol A. Micetich, age 76, of Plano, IL, passed away on August 6, 2023 at AccentCare Inpatient Hospice Center in Naperville, IL. She was born on January 9, 1947 in Ottawa, IL the daughter of Roger and Mary (Richardson) Olson.

Carol was united in marriage on July 27, 1973 to Nicholas Micetich and they spent the next 50 years happily together. She was employed for many years as a coordinator with the TOPS weight loss program. Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

She is survived by her husband, Nicholas Micetich of Plano, IL; her sons, Carl Decker of Joliet and Craig (Janice) Decker of Yorkville, IL; her grandchildren, Nicholas (fiancé, Leah Fuller) Decker of Missouri and Alexsie Decker of Yorkville, IL; her brother, Robert (Barbara) Olson; also several nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded by her parents, Roger and Mary Olson; her brothers, Gary Olson and John Olson; as well as her sister, Jean Smith.

Services for Carol will be private.
