Carmen Rosales Alberts
Carmen Rosales Alberts, age 79, of Chicago and formerly of the Philippines. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Alberts. Beloved daughter to the late Marcos and Ines Rosales. Dear sister to Victor, Rito, Cora, Salvador, Emma, Nestor, Lydia, and the late Juliet, Alice, and Sol. Adored Aunt and “Grama” to many nieces and nephews. Carmen loved to sing and share stories, and her home was always immaculate. She spoiled her nieces, nephews and grandchildren with candy and sodas. A true matriarch of the family, and always the lead when praying The Rosary.
A visitation will be held Saturday, September 18, from 12:00-4:00pm and Sunday, September 19, from 1:00-5:00pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave. Chicago IL. A funeral mass will be held Monday, September 20, at 10:00am at Queen of All Saints Basilica, 6280 N Sauganash Ave, Chicago, IL. Entombment Rosehill Cemetery.
