Bryan Basave

Bryan Basave

Bryan Basave, a loyal son, attentive and compassionate brother, and dedicated Tio, bid his final farewell on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023.  Born on New Year’s Eve in 1988 in San Diego, California, but grown and raised in Mesa, Arizona.  As a Man of many trades, Bryan was not only good at his job, but also built strong relationships around him, earning him a reputation as someone who was unapologetically himself while also bringing those around him to burst with laughter and joy.

Residing in Granbury, Texas, but native to Arizona, Bryan found happiness in spending time outdoors with his Family, friends, and his puppy Bella, which was the only one who could keep up with him on his kayaking adventures.  A generous sole, he was always changing tires or changing lives.  Bryan’s hobbies included going shooting, kayaking, listening to every genre of music, and spending time watching stand-up comedy.

Bryan is survived by his Mother, Maria Vega, his Step-Father Gilber Valverde, his Sisters Jasmine and Evelyn Estrada, his Step-Brother Harvey Valverde, his favorite nephew and niece, Sebastian and Sofia, and an army of friends and family who will forever cherish the laughter, generosity, and love he shared with them.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25th, 2023 at 1:00 pm, followed by a service at 2:00 pm at the Church of the Nazarene in Granbury, Texas.  Burial will be held at Holly Hills Memorial Park at 3:00 pm.
