Billie Fred Beaver, loving husband and father of three children, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at the age of 89.
Graveside Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Ash Creek Cemetery in Azle, Texas.
The family respectfully request that memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church of Azle.
Bill was born on June 9, 1933 in Morehead, Kansas to Fred and Ona Mae Beaver. He married Marcella Massey on June 9, 1958. They had three children Sharon, Bradley and Sandra.
Bill served 23 years in the US Air Force at several different bases, including Andrews Air Force Base in suburban Washington, DC, where he was a mechanic for Air Force One.
Following his military retirement, he worked 17 years and retired as a technical writer for F-16 fighter planes at General Dynamics and Lockheed. He was a longtime member at First Baptist Church of Azle, actively involved in the growth of the church and numerous mission trips around the country. He was a member of Gideon’s International.
Bill was preceded in death by his father and mother; his wife Marcella; his son, Bradley; and his daughter, Sandra Brand.
He is survived by his oldest daughter, Sharon Carey and husband, Bob; his grandchildren, Brittany (Carey) Lewis and husband, Riley; Robby Beaver; Hannah Carey; Ashley (Beaver) Gonzalez and husband Tony; AJ Carey and wife, Deann; Jonathan Brand and Mathew Brand; and his great grandchildren, Raylan Lewis and Amelia Lewis.
For those wishing to send flowers, please send them directly to Ash Creek Cemetery for Biggers Funeral Home will not be attending the graveside with service of committal of cremated remains.
