Beverly Flanders

Beverly Flanders, 85, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021 at her residence. Born August 10, 1936 in Melvindale, Michigan, she was the daughter of Marcus and Lois (Vogler) Baynes.
Beverly grew up at Beulah Beach Campground where she was active in the summer youth activities. She was very active in high school both academically and socially.
Beverly was a teacher for four years and then went to work for Lubrizol Corporation for 14 years from which she retired. Following her retirement, Beverly and her husband, Gary traveled all around the country, enjoying RVing and the beauty of God’s creation. Beverly was a very supportive mother and a wonderful, loving wife as family was very important to her. She loved the Lord and He was the most important to her as she loved reading Scripture.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Flanders; her children, Chris Flanders (Kathryn Dalheim) and Rick (Carey) Flanders; her grandchildren, Daniella Noel Flanders and Evan Patrick Flanders; and her brothers, David Marcus Baynes and Paul Howard Baynes.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021 at New Life Community Church, 1489 State Route 511, Ashland, Ohio with visitation one hour prior from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
