Louise Ann Marie Stein

Louise Ann Marie Stein, nee Briede, was born in Melsungen, Germany on March 7, 1918. She arrived in the United States with her mother and sisters in January 1922.

 

Louise was preceded in death by her beloved husband George V. Stein and grandson Michael Stein. Louise was the loving daughter of the late Wilhelm and Katharina Briede.

 

Louise is survived by her beloved son’s, William (Helen) of Lake Bluff, IL and Kenneth (Lisette) of Palatine, IL. Dear grandmother of Jennifer (Michael) Bubanovich, John Stein (Leslie Wong), Joshua Stein (William Schoch), Courtney Stein, James Stein, Christine (Tim) Fischer, Patrick Stein, as well as beloved great grandmother of Emma Louise Bubanovich, Alexandra Morgan Fischer, Josephine Mae Bubanovich, Holden Moxie Anne Kleine, Henry James Fischer, Vivian Grace Bubanovich, Charlie Amaya Stein, Keanu Caden Stein and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 

Louise will be remembered for her sense of humor, strength, and deep abiding love of family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend and role model for all that knew and loved her. She was a volunteer at St. Joseph’s Home for over 35 years. Louise’s love of travel took her to many parts of the country, as well as abroad.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Louise’s name to St. Joseph’s Home for the Elderly, Palatine or St. Theresa Catholic Church, Palatine, IL.

 

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 4-8 PM at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy, Palatine. Funeral Mass Saturday, October 16, 9:30 AM from the funeral home to St. Theresa Catholic Church for Mass at 10 AM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, IL.
