Bernice Redmond Creasman

Bernice Redmond Creasman, 85, of Mills River went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca, SC following a brief illness. A daughter of the late James S. Redmond and Bertha Burnett Redmond, she was a graduate of Oakley High School. In addition to her parents, Bernice was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Bud Creasman, along with all of her siblings.
Bernice spent 20 years in sales for Sears in Asheville and then spent 10 years working for Youngblood Trucking. She was a member of Biltmore Church, where she enjoyed volunteering both there and with MRLEC Ministries. She loved spending time boating and camping on Lake Hartwell with her family. She cherished her friendships and loved all of her friends as if they were her family.
Bernice is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Creasman Ramsey and her husband, Timothy A. Ramsey of Westminster, South Carolina along with several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Shepherd Memorial Park with Reverend Sam McLamb officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to Prisma Health’s Cottington Hospice House, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672. Be sure to reference Bernice in the contribution.
